The HS8420 is designed to work with Niveas shaving conditioner lotion. One tub of lotion will last three months under normal usage. The lotion is squirted into the shaver and then dispensed from the HS8420 while shaving. This does two things it makes the blades glide over the face easier causing less friction and irritation and it conditions your skin protecting it. This leaves a smooth moisturised finish.
